Privacy Policy.

The short version

• This website has no forms. Our buttons open WhatsApp, a phone call or an email, and nothing is sent until you send it.
• We never sell, rent or trade your personal data.
• Enquiries made inside a business's space go straight to that business's WhatsApp, not to us.
• You can ask us what we hold about you, and ask us to correct or delete it.

What we collect

When you visit this website

Like every website, our hosting provider receives technical details with each visit: your IP address, browser and device type, the page asked for and the time. These are used to deliver the page, keep it secure and fix problems.

When visitor statistics are switched on, Google Analytics also records which pages you view, how you arrived (for example from Google, Instagram or an ad), your approximate location (city level), your device, and which buttons you tap. We use this only in totals, to learn what brings people to us. We do not use it to identify you.

When you contact us

When you message us on WhatsApp, call or email, we receive your name, number or email address and whatever you tell us, such as your business name and city. Our WhatsApp buttons type a message in for you, ending with the part of the site it was sent from; you can change it or not send it.

When you become a client

To do the work we need your business name, a contact person, the address of the space, the photos and panoramas we shoot there, the details you ask us to show (such as prices and amenities), and billing details for invoices.

When you use a space we host for a business

When you send an enquiry or book a visit inside a business's space, WhatsApp opens with your message to that business's own number; the business receives your name and number with it, as on any WhatsApp message. We do not receive that message.

Questions you type into Ask are sent to our systems, and where an AI answers, to the AI service we use, to produce the answer. We may keep the questions, without your name, to improve that business's answers. Please do not type personal details there.

For enquiries made in a business's space, the business decides how your data is used and is responsible for it; we handle it only on the business's behalf.

Why we use it

• To reply to you and send you a quote.
• To shoot, build, host and support the spaces our clients order.
• To keep the website and the spaces we host secure and working.
• To understand which pages and ads bring enquiries, in totals.
• To meet legal, tax and accounting duties, such as invoices.

We use your data for these purposes because you gave it to us for them, because we need it to deliver what you asked for, or because the law requires it.

Cookies

This website does not set cookies of its own. When visitor statistics are switched on, Google Analytics sets cookies (their names start with _ga) to count visits and tell new visitors from returning ones. You can block or delete cookies in your browser's settings, or install Google's Analytics opt-out add-on.

Who we share it with

We never sell or rent your personal data. We share it only with services that help us run GetPorted:

• Bunny.net, which hosts and delivers this website and the spaces we host.
• Google, for Google Analytics, when it is switched on.
• WhatsApp (Meta), when you message us or a business on WhatsApp.
• The AI service that answers questions in Ask.
• Our accountants and advisers, and government authorities when the law requires it.

Some of these services store or process data outside India. We use established providers that protect the data they handle.

How long we keep it

• Messages and emails: as long as needed to answer you and keep a record of what was agreed.
• Client and billing records: as long as Indian tax and accounting law requires.
• Technical logs: a short time, for security and fixing problems.
• Google Analytics data: up to 14 months.

After that, we delete it or keep it only in a form that no longer identifies you.

How we protect it

Every page and space we host is served over an encrypted connection (HTTPS). Only the people who need your details to do their work can see them. No system is perfectly secure; if a breach affects your personal data, we will tell you and the authorities as the law requires.

Your rights

You can ask us, at any time and free of charge:

• what personal data we hold about you and how we use it;
• to correct it, complete it or update it;
• to delete it, unless the law requires us to keep it;
• to stop using it where you gave your consent (for example, to stop messages from us);
• to let someone you nominate act for you if you are unable to.

Write to the Grievance Officer below. We reply within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with our reply, you can complain to the Data Protection Board of India.
